Avishka Madhushan Abeygunawardena, also known as “Wanathe Chathu,” who is reportedly considered a close associate of organized criminal and alleged drug trafficker Kanjipani Imran, has been arrested in Ras Al Khaimah, Dubai.
The arrest was carried out by Dubai security authorities, according to reports.
Further investigations into the incident are currently underway, with authorities expected to examine the suspect’s alleged links to organized criminal activities and drug trafficking networks.
Authorities are continuing inquiries to determine the full extent of his alleged involvement and connections.
