The monthly Aswesuma welfare payments are scheduled to be credited to beneficiaries’ bank accounts today (19), according to the Welfare Benefits Board.
Accordingly, a total of Rs. 9.241 billion is set to be deposited into the bank accounts of 999,502 beneficiary families under the first phase of the Aswesuma Welfare Benefits Scheme.
Meanwhile, payments amounting to Rs. 2.321 billion are scheduled to be made to 212,955 beneficiary families under the second phase of the programme.
The Welfare Benefits Board said the payments are being made as part of the monthly welfare allowance scheme.
