Vietnam Airlines is set to launch new direct flights between Colombo and Ho Chi Minh City from tonight (16), further strengthening air connectivity between Sri Lanka and Vietnam.
The new service will operate three times a week, on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays, providing passengers with a convenient direct connection between the two destinations.
The new route is also expected to make it easier for Sri Lankan travellers to access popular Vietnamese destinations, including Hanoi, Da Nang, Hoi An and Ha Long Bay, via Ho Chi Minh City.
The launch is expected to enhance travel and tourism opportunities between Sri Lanka and Vietnam while providing greater convenience for passengers travelling for business and leisure.
