The Inland Revenue Department (IRD) has announced that Value Added Tax (VAT) for July 2026 must be paid on or before August 20, 2026.
The Department warned taxpayers that penalties will be imposed for non-payment or late payment of VAT.
The IRD also clarified that payments made by cheque, bank draft or payment order will be considered late if they are received after the August 20 deadline.
Meanwhile, VAT returns for July 2026 must be submitted online on or before August 31, 2026.
The Department has separately reminded taxpayers that withholding tax payments for the relevant period must be made on or before August 15, 2026.
The IRD urged taxpayers to meet the respective payment and filing deadlines to avoid penalties and other consequences arising from late compliance.
