Sri Lanka's opening batter Pathum Nissanka was named the Best Sri Lankan Cricketer of 2025 at the Sri Lanka Cricket Awards held on August 6, in recognition of his outstanding performances over the past year. Sri Lanka women's team captain Chamari Athapaththu was honoured as the Best Women's Cricketer of 2025, highlighting her exceptional contributions to the national side throughout the year.

The awards ceremony celebrated the achievements of Sri Lankan cricketers who excelled on the international stage during 2025. Dhananjaya de Silva won the award for Best Test All-Rounder, while Prabath Jayasuriya was named Best Test Bowler. Wanindu Hasaranga received the Best All-Rounder award, and Charith Asalanka was recognised as the Best Batter.

In the limited-overs categories, Asitha Fernando was named the Best ODI Bowler, while Dushmantha Chameera claimed the Best T20I Bowler award. In women's cricket, Chamari Athapaththu also secured awards for Best Women's ODI Bowler and Best Women's All-Rounder, while Harshitha Samarawickrama was recognised as the Best Women's Batter.
