The University of Peradeniya has announced that all academic activities, which were temporarily suspended due to adverse weather conditions, will resume on August 10.
Vice-Chancellor Professor Terrence Madhujith stated that all necessary arrangements have been made to ensure that academic activities recommence safely and proceed as normal from the scheduled date.
He further noted that students residing in university hostels will be permitted to return to their respective residences from August 9, ahead of the resumption of academic work.
The university had temporarily suspended its operations in response to unfavorable weather conditions affecting the area.
