The Court of Appeal today (23) dismissed, without taking it up for hearing, a writ petition seeking to postpone the 2026 G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L) Examination by two months.
The examination is scheduled to commence next month as previously planned.
The court delivered its decision after giving lengthy consideration to the submissions made in relation to the petition,
The petition had been filed by a group of students who are due to sit the 2026 G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination for the first and second time. They had sought an order postponing the examination by two months.
With the dismissal of the petition, there is no court order delaying the examination, and the scheduled timetable remains unchanged.
