Applications for the 2026 G.C.E. Ordinary Level (O/L) Examination are open online until midnight on the 23rd, Commissioner General of Examinations Indika Kumari Liyanage announced.
School candidates must apply through their principals, while private candidates must submit applications individually using their National Identity Card (NIC).
Those without an NIC must first register using the NIC of a parent or guardian. Applicants are advised to submit their forms via the official Department of Examinations websites, follow the instructions carefully, and keep a printed copy of the application. The Department stressed that no applications will be accepted after the deadline, and no extension will be granted.
