According to a statement issued by the ministry, the programme is aimed at ensuring 13 years of guaranteed education for students regardless of their GCE Ordinary Level examination results. As a result, O/L examination performance will not be considered when selecting students for the vocational stream.
Students who sat for the 2025 (2026) GCE Ordinary Level examination or any O/L examination within the past three years are eligible to apply.
The programme allows students to continue their school education in Grades 12 and 13 while obtaining an internationally and locally recognized NVQ Level 4 vocational qualification.
In addition, students will have the opportunity to follow modules designed to enhance soft skills and provide exposure to various career fields, helping them prepare for future employment and further education opportunities.
