The three suspects were arrested earlier today by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) and subsequently produced before the Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court.
Following their appearance in court, the Chief Magistrate ordered that they be remanded in custody until July 3.
Authorities have not yet released further details regarding the allegations under investigation. The case is being handled by the Bribery Commission as part of its ongoing anti-corruption inquiries.
