Sri Lankan Rupee Weakens Further Against US Dollar

The Sri Lankan Rupee recorded a further decline against the US Dollar, according to the latest daily exchange rates released by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) today (25).

The CBSL reported that the buying rate of the US Dollar increased to Rs. 332.34, while the selling rate rose to Rs. 342.03.

In comparison, the previous day’s exchange rates stood at Rs. 330.35 for buying and Rs. 340.06 for selling.

The latest figures indicate a continued depreciation of the local currency against the US Dollar in the foreign exchange market.
