The arrests were made over allegations that the suspects solicited and accepted financial bribes during the tenure of former Justice Minister Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe.
According to investigators, the alleged bribery was linked to efforts to secure or influence detention orders concerning notorious underworld figure and alleged drug trafficker Nadun Chinthaka Wickramaratne, alias "Harak Kata."
