The Sri Lankan Rupee recorded a further depreciation against the US Dollar, according to the latest daily exchange rate report issued by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) today.

The buying rate of the US Dollar increased to Rs. 330.35, while the selling rate rose to Rs. 340.06 on June 24.

In comparison, on June 23, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar stood at Rs. 329.65 and Rs. 339.49 respectively.

The latest figures indicate a decline in the value of the Rupee against the US Dollar, with both buying and selling rates showing an upward movement within a day.

Exchange rate fluctuations are closely monitored as they influence import costs, foreign trade, tourism, and overall economic activity. Market analysts continue to observe currency market trends amid ongoing economic developments.

The Central Bank publishes daily exchange rates for major foreign currencies based on market conditions and banking sector transactions.
