The hotline is also available to journalists seeking updates on dengue spread and control initiatives, as well as government officials and volunteers involved in dengue prevention and eradication activities.
According to the Government Information Department, the service operates from 8.00 a.m. to 8.00 p.m. on weekdays and from 8.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon on Saturdays.
Authorities have urged the public to actively support dengue control efforts by maintaining clean surroundings, eliminating stagnant water sources, and promptly reporting locations that may serve as mosquito breeding grounds.
