The new service will operate three times a week—on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays—enhancing tourism, business and cultural ties between Sri Lanka and the Indian state of Gujarat.
To mark the inaugural flight from Ahmedabad, a special welcome ceremony was held at Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA), attended by airline officials and industry stakeholders.
The new route has been introduced in partnership with City of Dreams Sri Lanka, Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts, and Walkers Tours Sri Lanka, aiming to strengthen travel connectivity between the two countries.
