The beneficiaries were selected from applications submitted through Divisional Secretariat offices across the country. As part of the programme, 14 students received laptop computers, with the President’s Fund spending approximately Rs. 5.8 million on the initiative.
Accordingly, during 2025 and 2026, the President’s Fund has provided educational equipment to around 30 university students, with total expenditure exceeding Rs. 9.8 million.
Secretary to the President’s Fund and Senior Additional Secretary to the President, Roshan Gamage, along with senior officials of the President’s Fund, parents, and the selected students attended the event.
