Yoshitha Rajapaksa is scheduled to appear before the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) today (17) in connection with an ongoing investigation.
He was previously instructed to appear before the commission yesterday; however, he informed authorities through a written submission that he was unable to attend due to a pending court case.
The commission is continuing its inquiry into the matter, and further developments are expected following his appearance today.
