According to the NWSDB, the water supply will be suspended from 8.00 AM tomorrow (16) until 3.00 AM on Wednesday (17).
The interruption will affect a number of areas, including Minuwangoda, Gampaha, and Mahara.
Water supply will be disrupted in Minuwangoda, Asgiriya, Udugampola, Opatha, and surrounding areas. The interruption will also affect consumers within the Gampaha Municipal Council and Gampaha Pradeshiya Sabha limits, as well as Weliweriya, Belummahara, and Rathupaswala.
In the Mahara area, water supply will be suspended in Maharagama, Sivaralumulla, Kirikiththa, Kinigama, and nearby locations.
The water cut will also affect Ranpokunagama Housing Scheme, Bataleeya, Wathupitiwala,, Thihariya, Veyangoda, and Kalagedihena.
The NWSDB has advised consumers in the affected areas to store an adequate supply of water in advance and use it sparingly during the interruption. Additional information can be obtained by contacting the NWSDB hotline on 1939.
