The Attorney General today informed the Court of Appeal that no decision has so far been taken to arrest or detain Senior Deputy Inspector General of Police (SDIG) Waruna Jayasundera under the Prevention of Terrorism Act (PTA) in connection with investigations into the 2019 Easter Sunday attacks.
He further clarified before court that the matter remains under review, with no enforcement action initiated at this stage as part of the ongoing probe.
