The session, held in Parliament under the patronage of Dr. Jagath Wickramaratne, was led by Dr. Nandalal Weerasinghe and senior Central Bank officials. Discussions focused on monetary policy, exchange rate trends, economic stability, and recent progress in Sri Lanka’s economic recovery.
Lawmakers were also given the opportunity to raise questions and seek clarifications on monetary and exchange rate policies. The briefing was attended by opposition and government MPs, parliamentary officials, and other key stakeholders.
