Speaking on the matter, the Deputy Minister claimed that some individuals who did not stand up for the victims of the Easter attacks at the time are now raising what she described as "false voices" regarding the issue.
Dr. Ariyarathne made these remarks while addressing recent developments related to the investigations and the concerns surrounding attempts to interfere with the process.
Several public representatives also expressed their views on the matter during parliamentary proceedings today, highlighting the continued public and political interest in ensuring accountability and justice for the victims of the Easter Sunday attacks.
The Easter Sunday attacks, which took place in April 2019, remain one of Sri Lanka’s most devastating terrorist incidents, and investigations into the attacks continue to attract significant public attention.
