The homicide occurred on the night of June 6, 2026, when the victim was attacked with a sharp weapon. Following investigations, officers attached to the Omanthai Police Station arrested the main suspect along with two male and two female suspects accused of assisting in the crime.
The arrested suspects include two males aged 17 and 27 and two females aged 20 and 23. All are residents of the Navatkulam area. Police stated that investigations are continuing to determine the circumstances surrounding the killing and the roles played by each suspect.
