Explosions rock Iran’s capital, Tehran, and the cities of Tabriz and Isfahan after Israel’s military launched attacks on the country.

The attacks came after Iran launched a wave of missiles at northern Israel, accusing Israel of repeated violations of the ceasefire with its attacks on Lebanon.

US President Donald Trump has reportedly urged restraint during a phone call with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and told The Financial Times that he calls all the shots.

The escalation comes after Israel attacked the southern suburbs of Beirut, killing at least two people and wounding 20 others.
