Based on a information received from Sri Lanka Military intelligence, a stock of Kerala Cannabis weighing approximately 220 kilograms, packed in 102 parcels, was seized during a joint raid conducted by the Sri Lanka Army and the Police Special Task Force (STF) on 07 June 2026 in the Antonypuram area of Jaffna.
The estimated value of the seized Kerala Cannabis is approximately Rs. 36 million. Further investigations are being conducted by the Palaly Police.
