Investigations by the Jaffna Divisional Criminal Investigation Bureau revealed that the suspect had edited four songs from the event and uploaded them to his TikTok account, presenting them as supportive of the LTTE.
The suspect was produced in court along with his mobile phone on charges under Section 03(g) of the Prevention of Terrorism Act, No. 48 of 1978. The court ordered that he be remanded until June 17, 2026.
Further investigations into the incident are ongoing, conducted jointly by the Jaffna Divisional Criminal Investigation Bureau and the Chavakachcheri Police Headquarters.
