West Indies emerging team arrives in Sri Lanka

The West Indies Emerging Team arrived in Sri Lanka this afternoon (June 3) through the Bandaranaike International Airport in Katunayake ahead of their upcoming bilateral series against the Sri Lanka Emerging Team.

 The touring side received a warm welcome upon arrival as preparations are now in place for an exciting series featuring both four-day and one-day matches between the two emerging squads.

The tour will consist of two four-day matches and three one-day matches, providing valuable opportunities for young players from both nations to showcase their talent and gain international experience.

One-Day Matches (Colombo)

Date: June 22

2nd One-Day Match

Date: June 24

Venue: SSC Ground, Colombo

3rd One-Day Match

Date: June 26

Venue: NCC Ground, Colombo

The series is expected to play a significant role in the development of emerging cricketers from both Sri Lanka and the West Indies, offering a competitive platform ahead of future international assignments.
