The festival will begin with a 10-kilometre national cross-country race, while the final championship events are scheduled to be held at the Diyagama Stadium on December 4, 5 and 6.
These details were revealed by Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Sunil Kumara Gamage during a media briefing held today (June 2).
The minister further stated that approximately Rs. 300 million is expected to be spent on organizing the national sporting event.
