The case was instituted by the Attorney General over allegations that statements made by the Bodu Bala Sena General Secretary were offensive to the Islamic faith.
Ven. Gnanasara Thero was present in court when the matter was called today.
After the pre-trial conference concluded, Colombo High Court Judge Buddika C. Ragala directed that the case be recalled on June 26 for the fixing of trial dates.
