Sri Lankan Forieng Minister Vijitha Herath met with Penny Simmonds this morning to discuss strengthening educational cooperation between Sri Lanka and New Zealand.
During the meeting, the two ministers held productive discussions focused on expanding education opportunities for Sri Lankan students, including scholarships and capacity-building initiatives in vocational training.
The talks also explored ways to enhance collaboration in tertiary education and skills development, aiming to provide greater learning and training opportunities for Sri Lankan youth.
