U.S. Dollar selling rate exceeds Rs. 330 in Sri Lanka

The selling rate of the U.S. dollar has surpassed the Rs. 330 mark in Sri Lanka, according to the daily exchange rate announcement issued today (27) by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka.

According to the latest exchange rates, the buying rate of one U.S. dollar has been recorded at Rs. 320.40, while the selling rate stands at Rs. 330.81.

In comparison, the exchange rates released by the Central Bank yesterday (26) showed the buying rate of the U.S. dollar at Rs. 318.32 and the selling rate at Rs. 328.69.

The latest figures indicate a notable increase in the value of the U.S. dollar against the Sri Lankan rupee within a single day.
