Speaking at a public event, the minister stated that the country had previously fallen into uncertainty due to poor governance and ineffective decisions, but claimed the current administration has succeeded in steering the nation in a positive direction.
He also pointed out that increased trust among Sri Lankans working overseas has contributed to record foreign remittance inflows to the country.
According to the minister, the government’s economic management and rising public confidence have further strengthened support for the present administration.
