Police said the suspects were arrested by officers attached to the Mullaitivu Police following an analysis of CCTV footage. Investigators noted that the probe took time due to difficulties in identifying the registration numbers of the motorcycles involved.
According to Police, the suspects were produced before court on several charges, including dangerous driving and traffic violations.
Further investigations into the incident are continuing.
