Extensive discussions were held on land-related issues, including cultivation areas within wildlife zones and long-standing concerns of dairy farmers over grazing lands in Mailaththamadu–Madhavanai.
The meeting also reviewed progress on human-elephant conflict mitigation projects, flood preparedness measures, and healthcare infrastructure development in the district.
Officials said coordinated solutions are being explored to address multiple long-standing development and environmental challenges.
