Parliament to convene at 9.30 a.m. today

According to the parliamentary agenda, the time from 9.30 a.m. to 10.00 a.m. has been allocated for parliamentary business stipulated under Standing Orders 22(1) to 22(6).

The session from 10.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m. will be reserved for questions seeking oral answers, while the period from 11.00 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. has been allocated for questions raised under Standing Order 27(2).

Thereafter, from 11.30 a.m. to 5.00 p.m., Parliament is scheduled to hold the Second Reading debate on the Inland Revenue (Amendment) Bill.

Following the debate, the House is expected to take up an adjournment motion brought by the Opposition from 5.00 p.m. to 5.30 p.m.
