According to the department, the highest rainfall for the day was reported from the Kalu River basin, where precipitation levels ranged between 50 and 75 millimetres.
Areas surrounding the Attanagalu Oya and Kelani River basins also experienced moderate rainfall, with recorded levels ranging between 60 and 70 millimetres.
The department stated that rainfall in all other river basins remained below 25 millimetres during the period under review.
Meanwhile, irrigation authorities noted that although the water level of the Attanagalu Oya remains elevated, it has now dropped to the warning level.
The Department of Irrigation further stated that the Kuda Ganga is still experiencing a minor flood situation and authorities continue to monitor conditions closely.
