The Inter University Students' Federation staged a protest today (14), demanding that the controversial property in Malwana including a house and surrounding land reportedly without a legal owner be handed over for public use, including university purposes.
The protesters stated that the demonstration was aimed at reminding the current government of its pledge to “return properties stolen from the people back to the public” when it came to power.
During the protest, they urged authorities to allocate the property for universities facing severe space limitations as well as for broader public use.
