Deputy Minister of Youth Affairs, , along with several ministry officials, also participated in the discussion.
The meeting focused extensively on strengthening the long-standing friendship between Sri Lanka and Pakistan through future Youth Exchange Programs. Both sides also expressed agreement on entering into an official Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at facilitating the exchange of skills, knowledge, and experiences among the youth of the two countries.
In addition, discussions were held on enhancing cooperation in the sports sector. The two parties exchanged views on organizing bilateral cricket tournaments and obtaining Pakistan’s support for the development of sports infrastructure in Sri Lanka.
The primary objective of the meeting was to further strengthen the ties between Pakistan and Sri Lanka while creating new opportunities in the fields of youth development and sports cooperation.
