Deputy Minister of Provincial Councils and Local Government Ruwan Senarathne says Sri Lanka’s public service is being restructured based on three key pillars: digitalization, the ‘Clean Sri Lanka’ program, and the ‘Praja Shakthi’ initiative.

He made these remarks at a ceremony held yesterday (07) at the Registrar General’s Department, where computer systems were distributed to Registrar officials under the ‘One Registry’ program.

He said that the public expects a modern, efficient and attitudinally transformed administration.

“As these are national assets funded by taxpayers, they must be used responsibly to achieve a prosperous country and a better life for citizens,” he said.
