According to the Railway Department, the Yal Devi train will operate from Colombo Fort to Kankesanthurai only on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
Meanwhile, the return service from Kankesanthurai to Colombo Fort will run on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays.
The train consists of four air-conditioned first-class compartments, providing improved comfort for passengers travelling on the northern railway line.
