According to the updated schedule, the train will operate from Colombo Fort to Kankesanthurai on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The return service from Kankesanthurai to Colombo Fort will run on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays.
The service will include four air-conditioned first-class carriages to ensure passenger comfort on long-distance journeys.
