Vietnam Delegation Depart Sri Lanka Following Successful State Visit

The delegation led by Tô Lâm, President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam, departed the island Short while ago (08) from Bandaranaike International Airport after successfully concluding their State Visit to Sri Lanka.

The State Visit was undertaken at the invitation of President Anura Kumara Dissanayake.

During the visit, the Vietnamese President and the delegation engaged in a series of activities aimed at further strengthening friendship and cooperation between Sri Lanka and Vietnam, while creating numerous benefits for the people of both countries.

This marked the first visit by a Vietnamese President to Sri Lanka in 15 years and came at a significant time as Sri Lanka continues its path toward economic stability under the current government.

Industries and Entrepreneurship Development Minister Sunil Handunnetti and several senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs were present at the airport to bid farewell to the Vietnamese delegation.
