Anuradhapura Chief Magistrate Sashidu Wickramaratne issued the orders today (08) following an ongoing investigation into the incident. The court took this step as part of the legal proceedings regarding the reported abuse of the minor girl.
In addition to the arrest warrants, the Magistrate has imposed a foreign travel ban on both the suspect monk and the mother of the victim.
