During the visit, the Vietnamese President is expected to deliver a special address in Parliament on May 8.
The visit is also expected to strengthen bilateral cooperation between the two countries, with several Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) due to be signed covering a range of sectors aimed at enhancing collaboration and mutual development.
The state visit is seen as a significant step toward deepening diplomatic relations and expanding cooperation between Sri Lanka and Vietnam across multiple fields of mutual interest.
