The Minister further stated that parents will be formally advised to enroll their children only in registered preschools, ensuring better standards and oversight in early childhood education.
These remarks were made during a meeting held at the Matara District Secretariat, where discussions focused on issues related to preschools in the Southern Province, covering the districts of Galle, Matara, and Hambantota.
The meeting was attended by Southern Province Governor Professor Susiripala Manawadu, along with several government officials, to address ongoing challenges and improve the regulation of preschools in the region.
