Fuel prices increased from midnight

The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (Ceypetco) has announced a revision of fuel prices, which came into effect from midnight today (May 2).

According to the latest update, several key fuel categories have seen price hikes. Auto Diesel has been increased by Rs. 10, bringing the new price to Rs. 392 per litre, while Super Diesel has risen by Rs. 15 to Rs. 458 per litre.

Petrol prices have also been revised upward. Petrol 92 Octane has increased by Rs. 12 and is now priced at Rs. 410 per litre. Meanwhile, Petrol 95 Octane has gone up by Rs. 15 to reach Rs. 470 per litre.

In addition, the price of kerosene has been raised by Rs. 10, setting the new rate at Rs. 265 per litre.

Revised Fuel Prices:

Auto Diesel: Rs. 392 (+Rs. 10)

Super Diesel: Rs. 458 (+Rs. 15)

Petrol 92 Octane: Rs. 410 (+Rs. 12)

Petrol 95 Octane: Rs. 470 (+Rs. 15)

Kerosene: Rs. 265 (+Rs. 10)

The price adjustments are part of periodic revisions implemented by the CPC in response to global oil market trends and domestic economic factors.
