Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) Managing Director Mayura Neththikumarage said the vessel is transporting 36,000 metric tons of petrol.
Meanwhile, a tanker carrying diesel reached the island yesterday.
The CPC stated that with the arrival of these shipments, Sri Lanka now has adequate fuel reserves to meet the country’s demand until the end of June.
