At least 20 people were injured after a passenger transport bus veered off the road and plunged into a precipice in the Wataragala Estate area along the Hatton–Dikoya main road this afternoon (29).
According to reports, the bus was travelling from Dayagama to Hatton at the time of the accident. The injured passengers have been rushed to nearby hospitals for treatment.
