Along with him, the office bearers and members of the Executive Committee of Sri Lanka Cricket have also tendered their resignations.
The decision has been officially communicated to President Anura Kumara Dissanayake and the Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, Sunil Kumara Gamage.
