Proposal Submitted to Increase Electricity Tariffs

A proposal has been submitted to the Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) seeking an increase in electricity tariffs.
Accordingly, the National System Operator (Pvt) Ltd. has forwarded its revised electricity cost estimate to the PUCSL for the second quarter of this year.
The revised estimate has been submitted in line with the recent increase in fuel prices.
