The Sri Lanka Veterinary Association has stated that comprehensive measures have been put in place to ensure the health and safety of ‘Aloka’, the rescue dog set to arrive in Sri Lanka for the “Walk for Peace” march.

According to the association, a 24-hour ambulance service, necessary medical supplies, and dedicated veterinary teams have been arranged to support the animal throughout the visit.

In addition, a specialized emergency response unit has been kept on standby to address any urgent situations.

The SLVA emphasized that ‘Aloka’, who is internationally recognized as a symbol of peace, will receive the highest level of care and protection during the event.
